Hi Steve, I thought maybe Roadrunner was blocking mail from their entire domain from all of us as I've seen this happen before with certain sites but, when I hit the join by E-mail link on their web site and sent the message that popped up I did get the following e-mail back in return so I don't think that's the problem. You might want to try again as for months none of us could receive dean s Top Tech Tidbits list and now it seems to be working again. Could you be using some type of spam filter or a setting in the blocked senders list in Outlook that blocks all messages from this domain? I was trying to figure out who was actually hosting their list and the web site I pulled was href="http://lists.gimpgrove.org/mailman/private.cgi/talks/";>Talks That's the only thing I can think of. Reg The headers on the message I got back said from nigel.gimpgrove.org ([216.103.109.133]) by orngca-mx-11.mgw.rr.com The subject is confirm f3b8b4ced674e5af3f2c92ee068badee54402c64 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Steven Clark" <kcpadfoot@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <real-eyes@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: 27 December 2006 Wednesday 12:18 AM Subject: [real-eyes] need some help OK, I'll try to send this again. It appears that freelists doesn't like it when you put subscribing in the subject. ----- Original Message ----- From: Steven Clark To: real-eyes@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, December 27, 2006 12:11 AM Subject: problems subscribing to talks list Hi, I need some help figuring out where a problem is. After we switched isp's recently I have not been able to subscribe to the talks users list. I've tried several methods from manually typing the subscribe email address, going to the web site and clicking on the link to start a new message with the subscribe address in the to field and also via the form on the web site. I get no response at all from the talks users list and emailing the list owner hasn't had any response either. So if anyone could try subscribing to the talks list and see if it works for you, maybe that'd let me know its something with my isp or not. The web site for the talks list is www.talksusers.com Thanks, Steve To subscribe or to leave the list, or to set other subscription options, go to www.freelists.org/list/real-eyes To subscribe or to leave the list, or to set other subscription options, go to www.freelists.org/list/real-eyes
