Jim,

When you say you "unload" jaws, does that mean you can have Jaws running =
when your computer starts, then hit AltF4 and quit jaws for windows, use =
the freedom box, then the next time the computer starts up, Jaws can run =
first again and you can again decide either to use Jaws or to quit Jaws =
and use the Freedom Box?

Hi, I do not have the Freedom Box hardware, just the $12.95
subscription.

There are hundreds of audio described movies and TV shows, and like I
said, the ability to create a CD that will make any computer immediately
accessible is significant.

To me, that's worth the $12.95, for others, it may not be.

You can unload jaws at any time to use the FreedomBox software if you
want to do so.
You do not have to buy any of the hardware.

Jim,

I'm still contemplating the purchase of Freedom Box. Question: What if I
=3D3D want to use Freedom Box on a computer that has Jaws installed; in
other =3D3D words, sometimes I want to use freedom Box, sometimes I want =
=3D
to
use =3D3D Jaws. Can I simply do Alt F4 to "quit Jaws for Windows", then =
=3D
plug
=3D3D Freedom Box into the serial port of my PC and go? Or does Jaws not
only =3D3D have to be turned off temporarily--it has to be completely
uninstalled?

Also, the other thing about Freedom Box that's concerning me is this $12
=3D3D per month subscription fee along with the $400 price tag. I'm =3D
already
=3D3D paying for my ISP and Yahoo premium account. Can I run Freedom Box =
=3D
=3D3D
without paying for that subscription? Do you have a Freedom Box =3D3D
subscription and, if so, what makes it worth the money?

Kimberly

Best option:

Download and install a 30 day trial of Freedombox.
After installing Freedombox on your home PC, log on and choose the
option to burn your own pass key.
This will produce a CD that when placed into any computer, will
immediately start to speak, yet no software will be installed on the
host computer.
When you remove the CD, the PC returns to its previous state.

I can think of no better option.

Question: I'm going to be flying out of town and need a way to access a
computer without having to take my laptop. The people I'm visiting would
prefer that I not install JFW on their system. The only thing I'll have
at my disposal is my Braillenote and I can bring a copy of Jaws if
necessary. Is there a way with euither of these devices to gain access
to the computer so I can use it totally independently? Carrying a laptop
isn't an option due to the room it takes up.=3D3D3D20 Are there other
options for accessibility to the Internet on the go?
