[real-eyes] Re: access on the go

Jim,

I'm still contemplating the purchase of Freedom Box. Question: What if I =
want to use Freedom Box on a computer that has Jaws installed; in other =
words, sometimes I want to use freedom Box, sometimes I want to use =
Jaws. Can I simply do Alt F4 to "quit Jaws for Windows", then plug =
Freedom Box into the serial port of my PC and go? Or does Jaws not only =
have to be turned off temporarily--it has to be completely uninstalled?

Also, the other thing about Freedom Box that's concerning me is this $12 =
per month subscription fee along with the $400 price tag. I'm already =
paying for my ISP and Yahoo premium account. Can I run Freedom Box =
without paying for that subscription? Do you have a Freedom Box =
subscription and, if so, what makes it worth the money?

Kimberly

Best option:

Download and install a 30 day trial of Freedombox.
After installing Freedombox on your home PC, log on and choose the
option to burn your own pass key.
This will produce a CD that when placed into any computer, will
immediately start to speak, yet no software will be installed on the
host computer.
When you remove the CD, the PC returns to its previous state.

I can think of no better option.

Question: I'm going to be flying out of town and need a way to access a
computer without having to take my laptop. The people I'm visiting would
prefer that I not install JFW on their system. The only thing I'll have
at my disposal is my Braillenote and I can bring a copy of Jaws if
necessary. Is there a way with euither of these devices to gain access
to the computer so I can use it totally independently? Carrying a laptop
isn't an option due to the room it takes up.=3D20
Are there other options for accessibility to the Internet on the go?
