Hi, Tina. I'm glad to know you are back in KC.

On behalf of the 'stories' committee for the MORE2 Transportation Task =
Force, I am seeking stories of transportation problems in the metro =
area--both sides of the state line. As an interested person, I hope that =
you and others you might invite would also attend the hearing on August =
27. Feel free to pass this along to others you know who, living farther =
south, have even more problems than you have.=20

This is in preparation for a public forum that we are calling a Field =
Hearing. It will be a time when we will bring together politicians =
(congressional, state, and local) to impress upon them the difficulties =
encountered daily by many of our citizens in getting to jobs, health =
care, places of worship, groceries and other shopping, and =
entertainment. The goal is to get more funds flowing into the metro area =
to help us address those needs

We are seeking stories about:=20

  a.. businesses that decided not to locate here due to our insufficient =
transportation.=20
  b.. personal stories of transportation difficulties=20
I've attached the publicity piece about the event and a flyer seeking =
stories.
