Hi,

The radio from Best Buy for $39 uses your earphones as the antenna. The
Coby I got from Amazon for $100 has an internal speaker and rechargeable
battery, picks up A.M> and F.M. had a telescoping FM antenna and n external
AM antenna. They mention in the users guide that multicast stations can
broadcast up to 8 different streams with different content on every one.
Apparently my radio can pick them up. But it's monno unless I use an
external speaker or headphones with it. And no stations use that multicast
technology that I know of yet. There are no more than two streams on the HD
stations here. Some have only one which is the same as their standard FM or
AM feed, just clearer. However, I sure am enjoying the comedy stream on the
Buzz 95. I also like the Classical stream from KUDL, and the blues stream
from another station. These are commercial free for the most part. The AM
streams are nice because there is no static whatsoever and they are in
stereo.

Someone mentioned this radio needs an antenna?
Does it need a separate one?
