I went to the about section for firefox and couldn't find where to check for
updates. Where do I go to find it?

For those using Firefox or Thunderbird the current versions of each
program is 12.0 as of the updates available today.
These updates, as all updates do, fix old bugs and introduce new bugs to
be fixed in future versions. smile
You can go to the help menu with alt h and press A for about to download
the update in each of these programs.
