Hey all, I Received my BookSense yesterday afternoon. I haven't really had time to work with it and learn features, but here are a few of my first impressions: 1) Voice quality on the BookSense is better than that of the Stream or Pocket. 2) Volume is better on the BookSense than on either the Pocket or Stream. The Pocket is a bit better than the Stream, but not a lot. 3) The BookSense is very responsive as is the Stream. Both are much better than the Pocket on this. 4) I wish the clock button wasn't available when the unit is powered off as it keeps activating in my book bag. I imagine I'm getting some very strange looks when I'm walking down the hall past people and my book bag keeps informing them of the time and date. <grin> I have figured out that if you lock the keys, the clock button doesn't announce, so that will help. I'll just have to get in the habbit of locking it. 5) The carrying case that comes with the BookSense is very sad to say the least. It is just a little draw-string bag with no belt clip or even any padding to protect the unit. The stream certainly has the best design here. The Pocket comes with a padded zipper pouch to protect it, but it doesn't have a belt clip either. I've shown all three units to sighted folks. They all pick the BookSense as the coolest looking device, with the Pocket being second in the running. Because I purchased the XT model instead of the standard, I received an 8GB SDHC card with the unit rather than the standard 2GB. I've ordered the BlueTooth head set, but they are currently out of stock so I'll have to wait for that. Okay, when I've actually downloaded some books and put the unit through its paces, I'll try to give more feedback. Later!
