Kevin, one more important question I was unable to locate on the Emoze
website: What are their prices for service?

Actually there is a solution to your problem. There is an email client
which will work with the Nokia e 71 x I have the program. If you go to
www.emoze.com you will find the program there. If you have trouble, let
me know, and I will send you the program for the phone.

Subject: [real-eyes] AT&T discontinuing text-based/accessible email

Yesterday I discovered that my Express mail on my Nokia E71X phone was
not working. For a few hours I presumed there was an outage and that was
why I was getting the "network timed out" message. I finally called AT&T
and discovered that they switched off the text-based server and you now
have to send and receive email via a Javascript (image-based) app called
Mobile Mail. Translation: There is no longer any option for blind
users/anyone using a screen reader to access email through AT&T on their
cell phone.

That said, AT&T's disability services center will not support Apple
products/the I-Phone. They only support Mobile Speak, which has no plans
to fix this problem.

Is anyone else experiencing the frustration of no longer being able to
work with email on their cell through AT&T? What are my options, aside
from switching carriers? It makes me angry that a company can do this
and their disability support has no plans for a solution.
