Imagine yourself sitting high in the first turn at Indy, eyes closed slight
breeze coming from the north. You hear the sound coming from the fourth turn,
faint, ears straining to catch all available. Louder, Louder as it glides down
the straightaway, over the bricks, coming ever so quickly. Entering the first
turn, the body has chills, the stands begin to rumble. The crowd is silent.
The air becomes still. A wave of the earth moving. Body trembles. The

ears become receptors of only one sound. Quivering. Through the first turn.
The earth returns. Through the short chute. Echoes reverberate through the
sweet smell of the exhaust. Hear it again. Through the second turn and down
the back straight. The Good Vibrations becoming faint and fade out. Ears turn
north. Straining to catch the first sound. Like listening to Sputnik. Just a
note. Then a chord. Nirvana is coming close again. To enter the mind and soul
of a 12 year old. Ever to change the being.

Nothing comes close.

Well if they are going to be powered by a Ferrari engine, they certainly won’t
be ugly!!! Sure would be nice if that Ferrari engine was a V-12 !!!! Did any of
you ever hear that 333sp prototype howl?
A Symphony!!!

Speaking of Ferrari porn. I see that next year in those ugly Grand Am cars one
is going to be Ferrari powered. Larry will remember them they are the same
ones that had the F430 using a Crawford chassis last year.

60s? Ya mean the 51 Tipo 166?
http://www.philseed.com/ferrari01.html I got several shots of that one.

Or the 71 365 GTB? I have to admit that by the time I got to the
Ferraris, then the winner's circle and then to see Brandy I had about
3 dead cylinders. So there could have been a Ferrari that I
missed...and I should have done a shot of Brandy, but I was kinda
punch-drunk by then.

I don't have anything online yet. I've attached a coupla shots and I'll
have a few more as teasers a little later. I'll put 'em in a directory
on the server that should allow you to click on the file names and see
the photos.
