I've figured out I can go into that external nat IP address and allocate that address to that server object - it just seems like it's double entry: 1) Create the internal IP address 2) Create the external address 3) Create the NAT entry linking the two It would be a nice feature to just be able to: 1) Create the internal address 2) Create a NAT entry, which would automatically allocate the external address to this server object Thanks, Tim Tim Carr Vice President, Information Technology & Consulting Buchanan Associates Office: 972/910-7530 | Cell: 214/755-8990 Email: tcarr@xxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:tcarr@xxxxxxxxxxxx> From: racktables-users-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:racktables-users-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Gabriel Friedmann Sent: Thursday, January 08, 2009 3:10 PM To: racktables-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [racktables-users] Re: Question about NAT and Items showing up in Subnets Perhaps it would make sense to create a firewall object that has the NAT IP assigned? From: racktables-users-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:racktables-users-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Tim Carr Sent: Thursday, January 08, 2009 1:56 PM To: racktables-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [racktables-users] Question about NAT and Items showing up in Subnets Hello, all. I'm implanting our new RackTables system and am scratching my head on something. It appears that when I create an object like a server, assign it an IP address (like 192.168.1.1) and then match a NAT IP address to it (like 39.1.1.1), that IP address in the NAT subnet (39.1.1.1) does not show up as being allocated. If I edit that that address, by drilling down into the IPV4 Space -> 39.1.1.1 I can see that the NAT mapping is there, but that 39.1.1.1 address won't show up as being green when I look at the whole subnet. Is that on purpose?
