[python] 2008: year of the bike

Hi Pythonauts,

I heard many rumours, that bike sales and usage increased a lot. Then found an 
article in the economist[1], that among other things says that bicycle 
manufacturer Giant is having a record year.

Now i also found studies, that biking in new york city is up by 35%. [2]
and that other cities in the US have similar devolopments[3].

On the other hand, it is sad to see that especially china and india strive to 
get rid of the bike while "the west" returns to rikscha and other great things 
of human powered transport....
