Van 't Hoff Award Lezingen op landelijk symposium CHAINS2011
De Van 't Hoff Awards Lezingen 2011 vinden plaats tijdens het eerste landelijke
chemiesymposium in Maarssen.

Met het symposium CHAINS2011 op 28, 29 en 30 november in Maarssen vieren de Van
’t Hoff Commissie van de KNAW samen met NWO en KNCV het Internationaal Jaar van
de Chemie en de 110de verjaardag van de Nobelprijs voor Van ‘t Hoff.
J.H. Van 't Hoff is de eerste Nobelprijswinnaar in de chemie en grondlegger van
de stereochemie.
De Awards gaan in 2011 naar professor Stuart Schreiber (Harvard University),
professor Carol Robinson (Oxford University) en professor Chad Mirkin
(Northwestern University). De drie wetenschappers zullen op het symposium hun
onderzoek toelichten.

To celebrate both the year of chemistry and the 110th anniversary of the first
Nobel Prize for J.H. van 't Hoff, the Royal Netherlands Academy of Sciences
awards the seminal work of professor Stuart Schreiber (Harvard University),
professor Carol Robinson (Oxford University) and professor Chad Mirkin
(Northwestern University).
The lectures connected to the awards will be presented at the first national
chemistry symposium "CHAINS 2011" in the Netherlands organized by the major
Dutch organizations in supporting chemical research and education. The
symposium will be held in Maarssen at November 28-30, 2011.
