If the canisters are anything like the Nikor developing tanks the lids were fitted to specific tanks. If you used the wrong lid it would either leak or become jammed on the tank. The secret was to scratch an identifying mark on both the tank and the lid so that they couldn't get separated. Could this be the cause, that the lids have become switched? -----Original Message----- From: pure-silver-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:pure-silver-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Shannon Stoney Sent: Tuesday, September 27, 2005 2:11 PM To: pure-silver@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [pure-silver] lids for film processing canisters leaking Hi, I've been using those tall thin metal canisters for processing 120 film. I had two lids, one for each canister, and they fit perfectly last spring. Now all of a sudden, they leak like crazy when I invert the canisters to agitate. Do these things just wear out after a while? I ordered some more from B and H. Is there a better tool for processing 120 film? --shannon ======================================================================== ===================================== To unsubscribe from this list, go to www.freelists.org and logon to your account (the same e-mail address and password you set-up when you subscribed,) and unsubscribe from there. ============================================================================================================To unsubscribe from this list, go to www.freelists.org and logon to your account (the same e-mail address and password you set-up when you subscribed,) and unsubscribe from there.
