I met the folks from Foma at Photokina, and they were very helpful and
friendly. BTW, English was not a problem.

Foma is one of the few places who really make their own paper (they have a
coating machine). As I understand from my contact at Ilford, making good
graded paper is far easier than making good VC paper (several emulsions
needed). With the Big Three possibly getting out of the game, I have started
to obtain and test 'alternative' papers and films will follow.
