It should be noted that Zeiss produces a very high end lens for video use
(www.digiprimes.com). These are about $10k per lens.
Arriflex, Panavision, Sony, and Thompson (as well as others) are all either
producing or in the process of creating digital capture systems for motion
pictures. There are many problems with being able to capture the amount of
data that digital capture produces.
