The suggestion of if containing formaldehyde was from people using it for colour films. I haven't used it, but other comments included: "just because the smell reminded them of it" (i.e. formaldehyde) "I originally bought the Mirasol 2000 thinking that it must contain formaldehyde (in view of everything claimed for it!) as required for the 3-bath stabilisation purposes, but reference to the MSDS showed no warnings regarding formaldehyde, and I decided to play safe with my slides by adding formaldehyde specifically.I found it easiest to purchase as a garden pond biocide!" regards Peter Badcock ============================================================================================================= To unsubscribe from this list, go to www.freelists.org and logon to your account (the same e-mail address and password you set-up when you subscribed,) and unsubscribe from there.
