You can actually buy brown glass bottles cheap in 500ml, 1000ml sizes
cheap. From an outfit on the Internet whose name I forget, but Google
will probably find them for you. They come with Bakelite screw-caps.

Be sure to order caps if you want them. You almost certainly do.
I used to work next to some laser physicists who were working on dye
lasers. I got their empty brown glass gallon size bottles. I picked the
ones that formerly held acetone and methanol. They wash out easily.
