I had the honor of making a portrait of Mr. Deardorff this afternoon. It was
an interesting session to say the least. He is a large part of the history
of my profession and my passion. And naturally I used my 8X10 Deardorff view
camera to record the sitting. I felt a bit humbled to be with him.
He is 69 years young and once again eager to market new Deardorff cameras. I
mentioned to him the lists I belong to and he asked if I would pass on his
contact information.
