I have actually found that most ballpoint pens work on the back of the
cards. I keep a reject print handy to test before writing.
I also use the clear inkjet labels (the 1/2" x 1-3/4" size, like in the old
days of labelling slides!) for my return address and also for the image
caption info, placed where it says "photo" in the lower left. I think these
clear ones look more professional than a bunch of white labels stuck all
over the card.
I realize it's time-consuming to have to do this, but like anything else
it's a "workflow" that one must master and, to me, a small price to pay for
this unmatched PR tool.
