Ryuji Suzuki, who occasionally participates in this list, has put a lot of study into emulsion making, and at one time he ran a mailing list on the topic, though I just checked his web site at <http://silvergrain.org> and didn't see any reference to it.

Its been inactive for a very long time. I don't think there were ever more than perhaps three active members (meaning those who posted). I think Ryuji lost interest after a while.
