The copper II is reduced to copper I and metallic silver is oxidized to silver
I.  The Sodium chloride is present to make the solution a rehalogenizing bleach.

Good start. What would one vary to get different results?

Is there a different copper compound that would work?

Anyone care to discuss what the chemical reaction is with this?

Thanks again.

Alright bleach fans, I am looking for a better understanding of how copper
works in a bleach.

I would like a few different formulas if anyone is willing to share.

Anyone have any tidbits of knowledge they would like to share?

Thank you,
