DEAR BOB, Not the wrong approach, the old approach. CHEERS! BOB _____ From: pure-silver-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:pure-silver-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Bob Rosen Sent: Monday, December 10, 2007 1:11 PM To: pure-silver@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [pure-silver] Re: Censorship Links A two dimensional, monochromatic representation and abstraction from the REALITY OF THE SUBJECT!!! This is more than semantics...it is fundamental to the understanding of the artistic capabilities of photographic art!" -------------------------------------------------- Bob, You chose the wrong approach. Rather than dwell on the nature of photography to convert reality to two dimensions and symbology, you should have played the digital card. Using PS you could have shown the audience that a photo-digital image can no longer be seen in any literal perspective. Even if you don't know the origin of the photo-digital image, you can't thereafter conceive of it as photo reality because it can no longer be trusted as that.
