If you could please send to me a sample file I can edit that would be very good, thank you.

Brian, The PTR1 and PTR2 use the following algorithm to find DAISY
titles.

1: Look for a file with the name ncc.html in the root directory, if
one's found, then there's a DAISY title in that directory, since
ncc.html is the control file of that title.

2: If there isn't an ncc.html, look for discinfo.html. If a file of
that name is found, read it and play the DAISY title(s), to which it
points.

If none of these files are found, then the card just consists of
unstructured audio files.

So, if you don't want to use the PTR2 to copy DAISY titles from CD to
card, you can copy a DAISY book to the root of the card with the PC,
the Plextalk will find it. If you want to copy several titles with the
PC, you'd have to create a discinfo.html manually and copy it into the
root of the card. I can post an example discinfo.html, if you want.

If you copy DAISY titles with the PTR2, you don't have to think about
all these things. The Plextalk takes care of all that.

Hi

I have a storage card in my PTR2 and I want to copy a daisy book to it.
I copy the daisy book to the card in its own folder, but it is not
recognised by the PTR2 when it re-starts. How can I make the PTR2 recognise
the book please?
The daisy book plays fine on other players.

Thanks.
