Thank you for the excellent suggestions. I do know someone with a laptop, so my first problem will be easily resolved.I have plugged my PTR1 to my desktop PC. I can play or copy from the inserted CD. If I put a blank CD in and try to access the drive, I get the following error message. "G:\ is not accessible.
Incorrect function." I don't know what to do about that.I do have a card reader and have successfully played MP3 files on my PTR1. Unfortunately, I can't burn these files to CD, with the PTR1. I am assuming because the folders/files are not in daisy format.
Once again, thank you.----- Original Message ----- From: "stever2525" <stever2525@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi, this is Steve with a couple of problems/questions. First question: I have a Toshiba 5GB Type II PCMCIA Hard Disk which I have used with the PTR1. One of the files is larger than the capacity of a CD. I don't know of a way to transfer directly from the PTR1 with this drive, to my PC. Is there an easier solution than having to make an analogue recording, then transferring so I won't lose any of the fidelity? Now for my second question. My CDRW drive on my computer needs replacing. In the meantime, is there a way to transfer a folder of MP3 files from my PC to the PTR1? This folder is not in daisy format. I am using XP Home and JAWS5.1. Thank you very much.
