By the way, there is a difference between Fantum power and plug in power. plugin power, is only 6 to 9 votes power. Fantum power is generaly about 24 to 48 votes power and is used on mics that have balanced inputs and use a 3 pin conecter. The audio technica 822 uses a battery for it's power, but it works very well. Also if you are outside, I use the mics from core sound that uses plugin power, so there is no need for a external battery. You can put the mics on your shurt leaving your hands free.
