Andre, why would you purchase the ptr1 when the newest machine is coming out soon, they say. I loved the recordings of the ptr 1; I think they're CD quality; i have not used an edirol. But alas, I think the working of the ptr1 is much less satisfying than that of the ptr2. I have had absolutely no problems operating the 2.
Someone in the states was selling a ptr2 for approx $300.I thought that was very reasonable. But anyhow, as I say, the newest model is soon to come out.
