Bill, It is a fact that you will find batches or brands that the PTR will not like. I once bought a couple of spindles of memorex disks that I had the same issue with. I found that if I wetted them down then toweled them off and then inserted them that it sometimes improved the situation but rather than fight it I finally just used them on my computer and bought another brand for use in my plextalk. When I try to record with them I'm getting a message that says "write error." I've tried to set it up for recording music, for conference, for custom, but nothing seems to do the trick. Might these be faulty disks, or am I doing something wrong, or not doing something I should be doing. Can you please help me?
