Final Clarification Re Replicating Marks in Audio Files

If I add heading and page marks to the Daisy file in which I'm recording, that is, while using the PTR2 and not the software, may I then remove my CF card from the PTR2 and -- or use the PTR2 as a card reader attached to my computer? May I then use the PRS software just to export the Daisy file to .wav audio format? Will I then be able to see all of the marks in Sound Forge or other sound editing package? Or must I locate all PTR2 heading, page and group marks using the PRS software before exporting to audio? I'm still very confused about this; there is no reason none of this was explained in the main user guide. Now, if I only knew to whom to write to offer this suggestion for revising both manuals!!

Thanks
