Subject: Could use a bit of help me self

Hi all. When creating an MP3 disc on my PTR1, they play perfectly fine in the three portable players my family own. These are all players purchased within the past few months. I mention this because I gave a disc to a friend yesterday and she is unable to play it in anything she owns. Her players are at least a year old or older. Does anyone know what might be going on? The players my family own are three different brands and again, the MP3 discs play fine. Thanks for any assistance. John
