[pskmail] Re: Guidance for beginner

Ooops,

Night: 3.595 MHz USB dial.
Day:   *7.117* MHz USB dial.

I find it helps a lot to listen on frequency until you hear the beacon.
Then connect just after the beacon transmission switches to receive.
Less confusion and less latitude for clock timing errors that way.
You can also manually tune right onto the beacon frequency this way.
