Hello Dave, It seems you are very close to having everything working. In addition to the comments on gmail, and regarding the issue of the server not responding: 1. A number of commands (especially the mail ones) rely on the client beeing fully identified. You can see that in the terminal screen with the "Auth: OK" message. As this can take a few exchanges after connection, please wait to see that message before sending an email or requesting the latest email headers list (QTC command). 2. Wait for the completion of the previous command before sending a new command. For example, after a QTC command, wait until the "-end-" (in the terminal screen) after the new header list, to send a new email. Or if sending several emails, wait for the server feedback that the current email was sent before sending the next one. The Android version was designed for single actions and therefore does not have the "Send All" function coded, plus the servers sometimes do not handle concurrent requests well. 3. If you want to abort a previous command (while the server is sending data for example), use the Abort button, then wait for the server's feedback before sending the next command. Hope that helps, Have a nice trip and happy camping. 73, John
