I asked Greg if he would like me to forward to the lists. He has added the comment below. 73 Roger G6cKR ------------------------------------------ Hi Roger, could you pass it on please? A key extra message is that there will be few changes to the exercise protocol in November so that a more detailed investigation of data message travel times can be undertaken. 73, Greg -------- Forwarded Message -------- From: Greg Mossop <gregm@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Reply-To: The RAYNET HF Team Mailing List <raynethf@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: The RAYNET HF Team Mailing List <raynethf@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [raynethf] GlobalSET Report - May 08 Date: Sun, 29 Jun 2008 12:29:33 +0100 Hi, the report of the Global Simulated Emergency Test held in May was presented to the GAREC Conference on Thursday. For those who were unable to attend this event, the report along with the spreadsheet to analyise the logs received are available from the locations below. http://www.raynet-hf.net/tiki-download_file.php?fileId=21 is the report http://www.raynet-hf.net/tiki-download_file.php?fileId=22 is the spreadsheet I used to sort the data. The report will also be available from the IARU Region 1 website in due course, but with several people being in Friedrichshafen for the Ham-Radio show there may be some delays in getting this information onto that website. I also made some proposals for future exercises in my presentation. I will upload this later this evening (UTC) as we will need to consider some minor changes to the rules for the next event to assist in the investigation of data modes. Thanks to everyone who took part in the event, following GAREC and the signing of MoU with the International Red Cross and ITU, GlobalSET is an ideal opportunity to demonstrate our capabilities and show that we can play our part. 73, Greg, G0DUB Organiser, GlobalSET _______________________________________________ raynethf mailing list raynethf@xxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.raynet-hf.net/mailman/listinfo/raynethf
