[pskmail] Can't send mail

Hi All,
I have read all the manuals that I could find.
I have searched and read through the mail list.
I have done all the configurations with all the variables that I could
think of.
I have even cleared all my lists.
And still I cannot get Gmail to handle my outgoing mail via my server.
(And yes, POP3 is enabled.)
$smtpauthlevel = 2
$smtptlsuser=? (Do I need a special user account for this with Gmail ?)
@ = \@
$smtptlspass = ? (Do I need a special one from Gmail ?)
$smtptlsport = 587 (also tried 465)
GRRRRR
Is there another ISP that works well for the server ?
Please help ?

Ps BTW, I think all of this could be easier for the average guy if their
was a UI (with dropdown tips) for the server like what flDigi has.
Many of the potential semantic mistakes could be averted that way.
