Jürgen, can you try setting $PTTCOMMAND=0; in 
pskmailrc.pl

I cannot find anything except 1 line of code which tries to switch off PTT 
through the CAT interface when 
an ACK is received (fldigi uses ACK to signal end of 
transmit). Maybe your interface misinterprets that :)
