Attached is an epub for 01hh. It opens for me in FBReader on Linux, it
opens on the Kobo 950 ereader, on an Android phone. That's about all I
can test (because that's all I have).
I have minor changes (font paths, font name is Calibri not Calib*i*ri,
adding my name to Credit section). Should I push my changes?
A few workflow questions:
- are the fonts hardcoded to '$HOME/souvenir' for a reason? It seems an
odd and arbitrary place. Why don't we just create a font folder in
common, and store the essential ones there?
- that's a lot of custom XML! I'm impressed. It does seem a little
strict, though; if I wanted to take a pass at converting Highway
Holocaust to Docbook schema, instead, though (which I believe is more
easily ported), would that be something that I could try? I understand if
you'd rather keep all the books in the same schema; I just figured since HH
is its own separate series outside the Lone Wolf universe, it might be
something to pitch.
The reason I'm asking is because I'd like to try to get both the random
number table and the Combat Ratio tables in plain text, as they are hard
to read on e-ink screens as graphics. I see there are existing
plain-text tables in the XML, but they're bypassed, and I think with
Docbook's tables I could make something a little more attractive and
readable.
