Speaking as a seventh generation native Texan, there's no way anyone from around here would ever say "Every little helps" without adding the "bit" in there. Honestly, though, there's so much British usage throughout the FW books (or incorrect attempts at Texan usage) that it's probably neither worthwhile nor appropriate to try and correct them all. Heh... I remember reading these when I was younger and being constantly freaked out at driving through Texas and having my "tyres" shredded. --Jimmy On 6/25/08, James Durrant <james.durrant@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Maybe he picked it up hanging around Brits one way or another :) > > Definitely "Every little helps" though. > > > >> Date: Wed, 25 Jun 2008 11:42:20 -0400> From: krefetz@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: >> projectaon@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [projectaon] Re: Another Milestone> > > >> On Wed, 25 Jun 2008, Simon Osborne wrote:> > > (Do Americans really say >> 'lost my marbles'?
