Hi Ty,
I haven't looked into it much, but since you were talking about Python, have
you checked out PyGame?

Thanks.

Subject: looking for work and tutorial.

Hello list,
I plan on making the trek to Massachusetts sometime within the next year for
college.
I need to start lining up scholarships, getting college going and etc, but I'm
looking for some work I can do part-time, that will enable me to make some
extra cash.
I'd like to be able to rent something more than the box behind McDonalds, so
I'm working on finding a job to work at, preferably coding, server admin, tech
support, etc.
Just something that will bring in the cash.
For those that don't know, I'm learning python, and have had experience with
c,c++,c# and others. I'm experienced with linux (debian mainly), and server
administration. I plan on getting a cheap computer that I can put vista and
duel boot Linux on so I can learn vista for tech support. I am good with xp, 98
and 2000. I've also done some web design and php work in the past, and have
used AutoIt for scripting.

I'm also looking for a tutorial on direct x with c# and game design.
I've mentioned doing this before, but I'm actually getting serious about
working on it.
A game engine that would handle the mapping and etc would be great, but I was
told the game engine for GMA would run me about 2k; I'm not willing to spend
more than I'd make on just the game engine.

Thanks,
Tyler Littlefield
