Ah, but did you know that if you download the iso image, extract it and stuff, 
and install it that way, you will not be required to register. At least it's 
the case with 2005.

  the express versions are all free, no cost, they just want you to get with 
there other things, that's why the forced registration, the sign up also gives 
you access to some "free" stuff, and access to "discounted items" as well
