or he can use either eclipse or just hand code and command line compile, or try it with something like gming or however its spelled

may be yeaah, may be not ... if ypou are confortable with speech I
think you won't have problems.
Another question is if window eyes supports vs .net 2005.
In case it does not you will have to look for another access
technoloogy if you use braille or speech.
