*smile*, not to knock that most wonderful of experiences which is trying to
understand someone else's code, then trying to find a build environment for
it, and finally spending a week breaking it just so you can get your code
formatter to give you the option of how many spaces you'd like it to use
when replacing tabs: but, I do find that Eclipse's infinitely user
customizeable, instead of code customizeable, formatter is a much better bet
for such things.

Although I haven't used it in years, the code formatter from GNU was
really good and, of course, has source code so you can add features if
you like.
