my answer is not as precise as that, but there was... I stress the was because I haven't gone looking for it for quite a while, but on download.com there was a install/uninstaller made by a company called shampoo, and I have looked it up by that term, that did a grand job of tracking all the garbage that a application did during the install, would display it to you if asked, and also did a grand job of removing all the junk just as it installed it. When I finish evaluating each product, I will uninstall it from my system. In my experience, often when products are uninstalled, garbage is left behind including unneeded registry entries, as well as numerous unwanted files strewn throughout the file system. Does anyone know of a monitoring program that I can install in advance that will track and notify me of changes and additions made to the system as programs are installed? Thanks in advance for your time and assistance. All the best, Dennis
