Hi,
Yes the Business Objects software was installed before I installed Access
Bridge.
The only part of this application that uses Java is via a web browser so I
assumed that the Access Bridge installer didn't pick it up initially as this
part is not full client so I tried to install it manually and copy the
required files to the Business Objects folder as described in the JAB help but
I get the error as described below when this Java launches.

ok, was this java application installed on your machine when you installed
the access bridge application?

one thing that happens with AB, is that it associates with the java
applications it can find when it is installed. many times to get new
applications recognized you need to run a file that is in the C:\access
bridge folder (or is that java folder, one of the two, it's been a while
since I needed ab2.X installed)

it's the folder that AB installs anyway there is a txt file on this, and an
executable file that will run the associations process again after AB is
installed for you, and the txt file will tell you which file it is.

Hi,
I'm attempting to use JAB for the first time with JAWS 12.0. I ran the setup
installer and it appears to be working as I can read the JAVA control panel.

The problem is it doesn't work with a browser based JAVA application, IE
Business Objects XI.
I copied the relevant files to the Business Objects as described in the
manual setup for JAB.

The error message I get wen the JAVA application tries to load is:

at
com.sun.java.accessibility.util.AccessibilityEventMonitor$AccessibilityEventListener.installListeners(AccessibilityEventMonitor.java:138)

Any advice appreciated as I have been stuck with this one for a while.

Thanks
