Jackie,

Thank you very much. I will try it with Firefox. I have been dealing with so many challenges with Kaplan, LSAC, and JAWS that I forgot all about trying to use Firefox. It seems that lots of blind people like Firefox better than IE, so maybe I should learn to make the transition as well.

In addition, I have an intermittent connection today, so that may explain things a bit but not completely. Shouldn't the Macromedia stuff update itself when the page is loaded if the version numbers are not in sync well enough to pass the version check?

I will let you know how it works.

Thanks,
Tom

Tom, I got headings & number of links when page loaded. Is your flash up-2-date?

I used firefox. lol.

Let me see what it does w/i e 8. I am not an I e fan, to put it
bluntly. Don't ask why. You'll get a tirade which u likely don't wanna
hear.

Sorry, I did forget to include that. I am using JAWS 11.0.1430 and IE
8.0.6001.18720. These should be the latest version with updates.

I am guessing that the Macromedia stuff is grabbing the focus and JAWS
never
gets to announce after the page is loaded. Does this make sense that
this
would happen to you? I have been told that the Kaptest website has
problems. How did you perform your check. I'd like to learn.

Tom, it's accessible, though there's a fair amount of flash content. U
don't state which version of jaws you're using, which browser, etc.
Makes it kind a difficult to comment.

Hello All,

I am having trouble with Kaplan in's web site while using JAWS. JAWS
is
not
announcing the summary info, such as the number of headings and links,
when
the pages are loaded. How do I check their web site to see if it is
accessible? Their URL is www.kaptest.com in case anyone is curious.

Thanks,
Tom
