I had heard IntelliJ was not the most accessible. Haven't played much with it
myself however. I can't recall if IntelliJ uses swing for its user interface.
If so, have you installed the Java Access Bridge to see if that helps? reader?

Subject: IS IDEA IDE ACCESSIBLE
I started my new job at the Utah State Department of Workforce Services. The
IDE they are using on my team for Java programming is called Intellij Idea. We
downloaded a trial version and tried using it with JAWS and it did not seem to
be accessible at all. Has anyone used this IDE? Is there a way to make it more
accessible? The company that developed it is called Jetbrains. Any help would
be greatly appreciated.
Thank You
