What I mean is I start up visual studio 2008 and tab once to land on what
claims to be the projects button. I hit that projects button and am put into a
drop down box that resembles nothing like what the books I've been reading
describe for starting up a project. Also the word object is mentioned inside
that drop down box. I haven't done anything with what's in that box yet either
so can't say if any of it will or will not work. The second tab I hit gets me
into the area described by the books for starting up projects. Both times the
tab gets hit the computer says projects not objects and then projects.

what do you mean by "objects"
if you mean controls like a button, text box, or the like, that is done with
the tool box, and with the scripts you use control shift B to bring it up, and
then enter on the control you desire to be placed on the form.
the controls will be placed in the middle of the form, stacked one on top of
the other, you can cycle through the stack of controls with the tab and shift
tab keys and move them with hot keys.
use insert and H, and insert and W to get lists of hot keys for these scripts
when your in the IDE.

now I have already configured JAWS for VB 6 scripts that I downloaded
from your website.
My main problem here is how can I deal with objects since I cannot see
them. Sighted persons can do drag and drop to put those objects on the form.
How can I do that without their help using JAWS with JAWS scripts?
Well and warmest regards,

if your using jaws yes you will need scripts.
at my sight:
http://grabbag.alacorncomputer.com
in the lower third of the page, under the jaws scripts, Window
eyes set files and nova map files header (a h2) there are a set of scripts for
VB 6 and jaws 7, 8, and I think it reads 9 as well, these will work for J10
also, and there is a text file for setting the IDE up for best work with jaws
as well.
take care,

HI list,
I am not able to access and define the objects in VB 6.
What should I need to do using JAWS to define and
access all objects in VB 6?
Well and warmest regards,
