Re: Collection of C# fruit basket samples

To clarify, EdSharp now runs with the latest .NET Framework installed. If .NET 4 is not installed, however, EdSharp continues to work with .NET 2.0.

I would guess it is possible to configure VS 2008 to work with .NET 4, but do not know how. Can anyone else answer this?

Hi Jamal

Thanks for this collection. \It will go a long way in helping some of us.

I have a question though: now that there is C# 4.0 and VS 2010. I also
find that the latest offering of EdSharp requires this C# 4.0. With VS
2010 accessibility still a problem, can C# 4.0 work with VS2008 or they
are incompatible? If the two can play together, what should I do in
VS2008 to have it supported other than simply downloading the latest
dotNet Framework?

Thanks.

Subject: Collection of C# fruit basket samples

For convenient access to those interested in learning the C# language,
I have created a composite archive that contains various approaches I
used over the years for developing a fruit basket program with that
language.

Jamal

From the archive
http://EmpowermentZone.com/cs_fruit.zip

The following eight archives are contained inside:

cs2_fruit.zip = C# 2.0 fruit basket with specific pixel coordinates

cs3_fruit.zip = Fruit basket using features of the C# 3.0 language

db_fruit.zip = C# fruit basket with data binding to a Microsoft Access
or SQLite database

lbc_fruit.zip = C# fruit basket using Layout by Code

layout_fruit.zip = C# fruit basket with a general approach to layout
panels

mdi_fruit.zip = MDI, single instance, scriptable fruit basket in C#

C# fruit basket with persistent storage via SQL Server Compact Edition
ssce_fruit.zip = C# fruit basket with persistent storage via SQL
Server Compact Edition

wxnet_fruit.zip = C# fruit basket with standard controls via wxWidgets
