I replaced the config.ps file (a couple of days ago) and it didn't work. Instead of truncated output I get an error indicating the the postscript file cannot be found (and therefore no pdf was produced).

cheers,
Gitta

Hello,
If you use the option a2paper as in:
\documentclass[paper=a4paper,style=tycja]{powerdot}

it solved the issue for me on Ubuntu.

Thanks for your email. I found in the archives (to which Hendri
pointed me) an indication that the solution was to replace the
config.ps file.

This worked for me.

I tried changing the paper argument from paper=screen to
paper=a4paper (*after* replacing the config.ps file) and
found that it made no further difference, as far as I
could discern.

I didn't experiment further, since the problem seemed to be
solved.

    cheers,
