Sorry but there were no steam ships coming into Burton in the mid 50’s.
I moved into the Burton Parsonage in 1948 or 49 with my parents and siblings.
The mosquito fleet had long since been gone.
Not only was there a pharmacy but the was a butcher shop run by Matt Morrisey
(sp).
