hello fellow coworkers,
the testbed should now work better; i readded setup of promiscuous mode moved
the initscripts of pisasd and hipfw to /etc/no-init.d to stop them from
starting by default, also i added a small hack to /etc/rc.local to set the mac
address if it's not yet set. there's still room for improvement, meaning hipfw
and pisasd probably shouldn't be installed in the first place and the macaddr
should be more elegantly set using the uci system, but this should leave the
testbed in a more usable state.
i can't get ssh access to nike and pan currently, so they still won't work
nico: i haven't found the files needed for the ap-monitoring, they might have
been fallen victim to the big config file cleanup, please point me to the path
and revision where i can find them, send them to me by mail or readd them to
trunk yourself. the place for the general image files is now
"PATH/TO/PISA/openwrt/router-configurations/pisa-testbed", router-specific
configuration can be handled by the testbed system in tools/testbed but it
would probably be best to contact me if you have the need for such.
rene: your ssh key should be on the routers, please check
if anyone wants his ssh key in the routers, please put them in
PATH/TO/PISA/openwrt/router-configurations/pisa-testbed/etc/dropbear/authorized_keys
and contact me, so i update the routers
have a nice day
