Patrick,

Thanks again for detailed response. I changed the query to what you suggested
and when I ran debug72 the result was:

select Piece, EstHrs, Service, Turnaround, DocType, FileType, Platform, Pages
from newproj where (File1 = '' OR File1 = '' OR File1 = '') AND ProjNum
='100231'

Unfortunately, I am not getting any file names with this query, so I really
couldn't run it thru the MySQL admin.

The contents of File1 in the dbase is NOT a unique file.

On my ack page, I would like the user to see below and that would be the
separate sections: (File equals Piece). Thanks again ... Rich

File 1: file1.doc
Service: Editing
Turnaround: Long
File Type: Word
Platform: PC
Doc Type: Article
Pages: 3
File Est: 5

File 2: file2.doc
Service: Proofreading
Turnaround: 24-Hour
File Type: Word
Platform: PC
Doc Type: Advertisement
Pages: 1
File Est: 3

File 3: file3.doc
Service: Editing
Turnaround: 2-Day
File Type: Word
Platform: PC
Doc Type: Article
Pages: 10
File Est: 15
